You know, they had a recall on some iMacs, it had to do with of all things, logic boards. You might want to check that out on the mac site. We got a new iMac last Christmas. Sweet. I agree about not wanting to go into debt for it. Anyway, there are some great deals out there. You can either get a refurbished Mac from the mac site or you could get an educator's discount. When you do that you can also get some extras — like an ipod touch. Let me know when you start shopping. It will be worth the wait! I will miss your pictures in the mean time. I feel your pain girl! Our PC died a few months ago, so all my computer time is spent on Keith's laptop which by the way, doesn't have a colorful name :), but which goes to work with him every day :( Also, because its Embarq property, we can't download anything on it.... sigh. Still, I'm thankful for it. And no computer access during the day has made me a better mother, I think. Also, our refrigerator is sick and the prognosis is grim, which is not quite as bad as a dead dryer but at least I can relate on some level.... Will miss your photos! Ouch! I feel your pain girl!
