I heard this beautiful poem, "The Marriage-Bed" by Michael Simms read-aloud this morning on npr, by Garrison Keillor on his Writer's Almanac program. Thanks fo rthe comments over at my blog. So many times, I have meant to come here and leave you a note but just let time steal away from me. I think of you often and love to see the pics of your children. You know I am partial to that red-headed boy! But your daughter is absolutely beautiful.
This poem takes my breath away and is just what I need for my husband. We have just dodged a bullet, after coming very close to losing our way, we have spent the last three days reuniting, recommitting, rediscovering. Our 21st anniversary is in two weeks. This will be the perfect gift.
